Today I finished packaging two applications for deepin Linux:

  • Firefox ESR
  • Thunderbird

This update focused on keeping both deepin packages current, validating download sources, and making sure the packaging scripts remain clean and reproducible.

What I worked on

  1. Updated the deepin package scripts for Firefox ESR and Thunderbird.
  2. Checked that the source URLs are reachable.
  3. Verified script syntax so the packaging workflow stays stable.

Why this task matters

Firefox ESR and Thunderbird are core daily tools for many deepin Linux users. Keeping these deepin packages up to date improves security, reliability, and long-term maintainability for the deepin ecosystem.

I will continue tracking upstream ESR releases and publish follow-up updates when new versions are packaged.
